QUESTION 1 OF 3

What kind of phone do you have?

The urVault app goes on your phone. It's free. Nothing downloads yet — you get one tidy checklist at the end.

✓ Got it. You'll get the free app from Google Play. The button is on your checklist at the end — nothing to do right now.

Installing without Google Play? (advanced)

Your checklist will also include a direct app-file (APK) link. Android will ask you to allow installs from this website — that's normal for apps that don't come from Google Play.

✓ Got it. You'll get the free app from the App Store. The button is on your checklist at the end — nothing to do right now.

Which computer will keep your backups?

urVault saves your photos on a computer in your own home — that's the whole point. We call this computer your server (storage computer). It should stay on most of the time and have room on its hard drive.

✓ Got it. The free server (storage computer) program goes on that Windows PC. It asks a few questions and sets itself up.

The download is on your checklist. If you're reading this on your phone, the checklist will also help you send the link to that PC.

✓ Noted. The Mac version is coming soon. Until then you can use any Windows PC in the house, or a ready-made urVault Box (details on your checklist). You can still install the phone app today and try it for free.

✓ Got it. The server (storage computer) package and the one-line install command are on your checklist. Needs Node 20 or newer.

✓ No problem. The urVault Box is a small, quiet computer that arrives with urVault already installed — plug it in, scan a code, done. The price includes the app, so there's nothing else to buy. Ordering info is on your checklist.

Or dig out any old Windows laptop — it works fine as a server (storage computer). Just go back and pick “A Windows PC”.

Which urVault do you want?

Pick one. Both are free to try for 14 days.

Not sure? Answer one question

Do you want to back up anything other than photos and videos — documents, downloads, work files?
No → choose urVault.   Yes → choose urVaultPro.

Buy now and save $5

urVault is free to try for 14 days. To keep using it after that, you buy it once — no monthly fees, ever.
Buy now and you pay $14.99 instead of $19.99. This is a limited-time discount.

Easiest: buy inside the app RECOMMENDED

Once the app is on your phone: Settings → License → Buy. You pay through Google Play, the same way you buy any app. Nothing to type in.

Or pay here with a card

Pay on this website and we show you a code; you type it into the app under Settings → License → Activate. That option is on your checklist too.

Not ready? That's fine — the trial is free. Just remember the lower price is a limited-time discount.
